Media and the Role of Journalism in Shaping Society

Types of media, methods for coping, and publishing works for historical wisdom.

Media, at the root goes back to Medea the Goddess of Illusion.

“Medea is a remarkable study of injustice and ruthless revenge.” Source.

I explained this to a colleague recently and there are so many hooks and roads we can go down, to make this brief; The things we subject ourselves to have a power dynamic in shaping what we know and think about describing labels.

It is the contents and the strategies taught, shared, and employed that largely shape an organizations ability to publish their relationship to the public. Media, press, and appearing authentic are all part in legitimacy.

Benjamin Franklin in early North America founded a printing press and would publish media for the people to read. This lead to him gaining relevance and ethos in the colonies. He then wrote a letter to Great Britain's regal head stating that America would no longer be subject to the King’s declarations.

This made sense in a lot of ways, America as a colony was no where near Britain, and the taxes they were imposing with the Townshend acts was oppressive and inconvenient to the working and upper class.

For the mainstream media to notice the gap in how individual's can now use applications and technology to match their impressions is where the conflict arises. What makes something worth reading though, we rely on the title and tags to get our information.

I support Joe Rogan, and I am for free speech. I think that the efforts to censor and remove content based on the platform’s top down moderation model fails to consider how getting topics into the public consciousness can have a beneficial effect on the people’s ability to converse through conflict.

There seems to be a narrative to undermine and discredit people talking on more independent platforms. The establishment is worried that their stage is not the only authentic source and their panicking. They (Whoever they is) seem to take things out of context and attribute it to make people look bad so they can feel good about themselves and get more views.

It’s not a good way to drive #creditability.

It’s not a good way to #inspire people.

It’s just lazy, badly executed #journalism.

Do yourself a favor and chase this dysfunctional triad out of your life.

Disarm #deceit

Burst through #arrogance

Handle #resentment

We are to think more stoic and encourage each other to strive for improvement.

The malice and bad shows up in their dark news stories as each person worries about revenue and clicks wondering if their career is stable writing for an older media medium. They are pressed to try and get attention for ad revenue. Just be you, and bring up what sets you on a better path. Learn from the people that voice their life lessons, and findings that make them innovative and efficient.

Why is it that ad revenue is still based on the volume of people and not the quality of the click throughs, beats me. Lack of insightful metrics that lead to good business decisions is something the metaverse can help overcome. More in-depth analytics from the internet age are superior to archaic methods done by multi-level marketing agencies. With this, I intend to further explain how the individual has been empowered with IoT and Mobile Devices to achieve what an entire building of 1980s marketers can do given the same time frame.

To do this, I will disclose my apparatus for journalism because we are at a tipping point.

With this, massive change is needed to reform the group/tribe/organization/company/service ascension relationships.

This is why the freedom of the press is so important, the freedom to say things and determine the consequences (positive or negative) based on what the speaker is implying. What I’m implying in this post, is that people need to think for themselves, and not instantly associate, assume, and refuse to look deeper.

Don’t rely on social buzz to see to the core of something.

Don’t not read a contract you sign, in your career.

Don’t let your best efforts go under valued.

When I think about how a person learns, I think about the source and how that dynamic works. It’s about direct points that are able to effectively land and form memory by mental mapping, repetition, simplicity, and persistence that leads to an effective tactic.

It is a source’s goal to replicate the senses as accurately and as best as possible. I like JRE and find a lot of value in listening and sometimes watching the Podcasts. I like that he’s into self improvement, and encourages young people and old people for that matter, to stay lean, exercise, and get comfortable with being discomfortable to the extent of growth. He talks to fascinating people like Elon Musk, Paul Stamets, Matthew McConaughey, Jordan Peterson, Alex Jones, and through that and the apps featured content; I learn about other fascinating people like Aubrey Marcus, Joe Dispenza, Andy Frisella, Tim Ferris, and so many other interesting and inquisitive people.

Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, are amazing platforms and for people to avoid or omit problems by censoring what the people with the powerful permissions continues to perpetuate that problem until it’s dealt with by proper training and advocating for justice.

In this regard, I think about how it’s important to disassociate from the content that obviously does not accurately personify the person’s true intentions.

The number of events are accelerating and our efforts to understand and build out the framework in the Metaverse require user’s expectations and feedback to have a working relationship. Except we need to slow down, come together and sort out a lot of the similar topics to get a good direction set.

Technology is reaching the stage where we need to gap and carefully assemble written works to make reading a pleasant and enlightening experience.

My hope in righting this is to get you to think about the sources, how they’re harboring the content they ship, and what they do in relation to the public to control the narratives. Think about how it affects your life but never subside to bad practices in the light of where society wants to go, how it can get there, and how we the people choose to represent ourselves.

Independent media through a variety of sources is up to you to cultivate and form your own tools for picking it apart to integrate it into your life. A story, an article, a reading should add to your life, and make you ponder things often contrarian to comfort.

Puzzle the pieces and see that the mainstream media and people writing in a lack of quality time will often be pressured to preform and whatever patterning they’ve been subjecting themselves to, will continue to perpetuate.

Question everything, be very careful when escalading topics to a larger audience, fast churning and vast distribution is a recipe for cheap and unsustainable points provided to an audience.

Friends, pass good vibrations through the internet and don’t let some competitive market drain your attention and energy when it’s obviously struggling to fulfil the need for what you demand, for what you want.

Don’t pay too much attention to icons, or celebrities, they’re their to organize ideation around their ego to showcase a certain way of life. You can take bits and pieces from role models and orientate yourself around what habits you have the energy for.

Thank you for reading!
